Coming from the
world of music as a producer and composer,
George del Barrio, a.k.a. Geebz, forged
his marketing experience educating new record labels and artists as they entered
the record business through the 90's.
In 2000 as the record industry limped into the
internet era, he found that there were many more complications that were
confronting labels and artists in their marketing that had to be addressed, so
he found himself talking more about the biz than producing music.
In 2001, George
jumped from the music business to the B2C fire
and successfully re-started Hawaii Marketing
Company PMG International.
"It's ironic
that after 30 years in the music biz that I'm
able to tap into the same creativity to help
others develop their business strategies to
bring more exposure to their products, which are
just as valuable as songs are to an artists",
says Geebz.
